The Country Account Executive at Intel, Rita Amuchienwa, has been nominated in the categories: Special Recognition: Women in ICT Award (WIICTA) of the Womentech Global Award 2022.
Rita is a seasoned end customer/partner relationship builder, professionally disciplined and in her own words can single handedly turnaround company sales to positive dimensions.

She is so passionate about Information and Communication Technology. She Impacts on the young and old colleagues at work that has earned her several awards.
• She has worked at Lenovo as the first Country Sales Lead for West Africa
• HP as the Country Leader for Supplies and imaging and Printing Group English Africa
• Motorola as the Country Leader for West Africa
• Oracle as The Senior Channel Manager for West Africa
• Schneider as the Channel Sales Director for West Africa

She is currently the Country Executive for Intel West Africa- responsible for end-to-end business in all West African Countries.

Rita holds a Masters Degree in International Business Management from University of Cumbria in United Kingdom and Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar and currently on her last presentation for her doctorate degree on Ecotourism and Recreation Planning.

She has won many Awards – the ones that truly resonates with her is the Best friend at work HP and the Top sales Manager for Africa and the Sales Director Award to join MEMA Over Achievers Club in Schneider Electric; and recently just won the “Intel Team Culture Award”.

The virtual ceremony will honoured the most accomplished women in tech and allies through an interactive platform which featured live ceremonies, keynotes, engaging panels, fireside chats and networking with face-to-face sessions.

According to the organisers, to keep the awards selection objective WomenTech Network did not accept Award sponsorship from nominated companies and their representatives adding that the Jury members were not allowed to vote in categories if there is a potential conflict of interest.

The organisers said that the overall selection process heavily relied on and took into consideration the details of each nomination, the public voting, submission of materials, and independent research by its jury, saying that the jury members will be announced shortly.
