JUST IN: Nigerian Startup Signs $10m Agreement at Ongoing Gitex 2022 in Dubai

A Nigeria startup has just ben reported to have a signed a $10 million deal with a foreign company at the ongoing 2022 Gitex event holding in Dubai, UAE.

The parties involved in deal are still keeping details of the agreement to their chest even as the event progress into the second day.

It was gathered that Nigerian delegation led by the Minister of Communications & Digital Economy, Prof Isa Pantami held a strategic meeting with Amazon Web Services, led by the Vice President Sales EMEA, Public Sector
Isabella Groegor-Cechowicz.

Discussion of the meeting was centered around promotion of the Digital Economy, Digital Job Creation, Digital Skills, among others.

Also four Nigerian Startups have qualified for the semi-final of the North Star Innovation and Startup Competition.
