Making the announcement in the Kenya capital, Nairobi, East Africa Regional Editor/Co-founder, Barbra Nasimiyu said that the decision to introduce the multi-lingual service is one of the major developments that TechnologyMirror will be introducing as it prepares to mark two years of its anniversary.
According to her, one of the development which is currently going on was the MoU, which it signed with Brandworld Media Venture having earlier in the year to use technology to promote tourism in Africa through the annual hosting of the Tourist/Technology Hackathon Summit and Exhibition.
She explained that all that the visitor/reader to the website needs to do is to click on the translate icon for the service and make a choice of their best language.
She also disclosed that as part of its second anniversary, TechnologyMirror will be bring on board key industry writers from Africa to write on technology issues from the African perspectives adding that it was high time the world take a clue from Africa.
Nasimiyu also said that TechnologyMirror is also going into partnership with the African ICT Foundation to deepen ICT penetration across the continent stressing that it is exciting to note that the management is getting involved in the quest to drive ICT in Africa.
