Techplus 2017 Targets National Expansion

THE 2017 edition of Techplus Conference is expected to focus on start-ups in Nigeria with the purpose of deepening their presence in the country.
The annual gathering is a platform that provides a tripartite technology exposure through conferences, exhibitions and gaming structures whilst serving as a nexus for knowledge sharing and networking for consumers and businesses.
According to a statement released by the organisers, experienced professionals will share ideas on ways and methods to make Start-ups stand out, and how best to optimise the ecosystem to get to the next level.
The organisers said, aside empowering technology Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), other tracks on offer during the 2017 conference include Women in Tech, Tech Money, Tech for Development, C-suite, Content, Media and Marketing, Tech Kids, e-Sports and Tech Meets Life.
Speakers during the Women in Tech session will address mentorship, promoting gender balance in technology and women empowerment while Tech Kids will investigate the impact of devices and their technologies on families as well as parenting best practices in this new digital era.
The e-Sports track seeks to explain how the rise of gaming has become infused into society and continues to evolve worldwide,” the organisers said in a statement.
Acknowledged as Africa’s largest technology conference and expos, this year’s edition of the programme has been slated for July 6-8 in Lagos.
