Officials of the Government of Sierra Leone, has visited Nigeria to under-study the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
A team led by the Minister of Communications, Technology and Innovation of Sierra Leone Ms. Salima Bah are in the country to understand the policy framework of NITDA with a view to copying its landmark programme and project in their country.
,Acting Director Corporate Planning and Strategy Department, Dr Aristole Onumo received Ms. Salima Bah on behalf of the Director General of NITDA, Mr Kashifu Inuwa.
Their visit was to understudy Nigeria’s regulatory development and implementation to support the digital economy.
The team was also interested in the enforcement of standards and guidelines, as well as the agency’s policy framework that ensures efficiency in the use of digital technologies in government.
