The summit, themed “From Innovation to Impact: Women Leading the AI-Driven Future,” will bring together distinguished industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, executives, development partners, and aspiring professionals to explore how women can harness the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create sustainable impact, accelerate business growth, and shape the future of Africa’s digital economy.
The Women Entrepreneurs & Executives in Tech Summit & Awards (WEETS) is the flagship initiative of Techlife Media & Communications Ltd, established to empower, inspire, and celebrate women driving innovation, leadership, and excellence across technology, business, and entrepreneurship.
Since its inception, WEETS has evolved into one of Nigeria’s leading platforms for advancing women’s participation in the digital economy through impactful keynote presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, capacity-building workshops, strategic networking opportunities, and the recognition of outstanding female achievers making significant contributions across diverse sectors.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Convener of WEETS and Founder of Techlife Media & Communications Ltd, Ugochi Emmanuel, stated that the 2026 edition is designed to prepare women for the opportunities and challenges presented by the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
“Artificial Intelligence is redefining how businesses operate, how industries innovate, and how societies grow. Through WEETS 2026, we aim to ensure that women are not merely participants in this transformation but leaders, innovators, and decision-makers shaping the AI-driven future,” she said.
