CcHUB Design Lab Kigali, Rwanda will today launch the CcHUB Design Fellowship, a 6-month paid immersive programme for recent graduates looking to further improve the economic prosperity in Africa through design-inspired innovations.
The Fellowship which is expected to span 6 months from July 2019 to December 2019 will feature Courses and Projects aimed at incorporating Human-Centered Design (HCD) approaches into how public agencies and corporates (medium to large) solve problems, exploiting technology to improve services, products, and processes, and building partnerships and relationships to collaboratively solve significant social and business challenges.
Participants will spend time in between the new state-of-the-art lab, communities and partner organization offices to work on real-life projects and programmes aimed at influencing better outcomes, expand capabilities, through collaboration, improved processes, and increased equity to strengthen buy-in and ownership amongst stakeholders.
According to the Management of the CcHUB Design Lab, prior experience in Human-Centered Design (HCD) is not a necessary requirement for consideration for the Fellowship. Graduates of any discipline are encouraged to apply.
