The global Over-the-Top (OTT) business messaging revenue will increase from $2.4 billion in 2024 to $3.7 billion in 2025.
Juniper Research despite this, predicted that the rapidly evolving OTT business messaging market will face substantial disruption as new technologies enhance user experiences.
For instance, click-to-chat ads were identified as a key feature attracting enterprises to OTT channels.
The market-leading study identified 20 leading OTT business messaging vendors best-placed to capitalise on this revenue growth, in the latest edition of Juniper Research’s Competitor Leaderboard.
It positioned these vendors on the comprehensiveness of their solutions, innovation and market presence, ranking them as follows:
Infobip
Gupshup
Twilio
Sinch
Cisco Webex
Infobip remains the OTT business messaging market leader, with its AI capabilities being crucial to the company’s leading position. The study scored Infobip highly for its Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, which allow enterprises to easily deploy chatbots for key use cases such as sales, and frequently asked questions, finding that this has positioned the company well to monetise demand from market verticals such as banking and retail.
Tata Communications has moved up 11 places in Juniper Research’s Competitor Leaderboard in the last year, with the company now ranking as an established leader.
Part of the company’s offering, and key to their improved position, is its acquisition of Kaleyra in October 2023 which allowed it to grow its customer base and to integrate Kaleyra’s AI and omnichannel capabilities.
