NITDA DG, Inuwa Flags-off N150m Prize Digital For All Challenge 2.0

The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency, Mr Kashifu Inuwa has flagged-off the official launch of Digital For All Challenge 2.0, an initiative of TECH4DEV in partnership with NITDA and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

This is an effort to foster digital literacy and cultivate talents and to achieve a 70% digital literacy rate by 2027 and in alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to transform the economy and empower the citizens through technology.

The Digital for All Challenge is a free digital skill-building competition and programme to increase digital literacy in Nigeria and igniting interest in obtaining digital skills and certifications using online platforms.

The challenge will run in two phases: the training phase and the competition phase. After the training phase, beneficiaries will be required to take an assessment to qualify for the competition phase.

The competition phase will run in three stages: state, regional, and national (grand finale), and learners can win up to 150 million naira in cash, laptops, tablets, and other consolation prizes
