By The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has began a is holding a 3-day top management retreat to assess and evaluate its activities over the past year, and establish a solid foundation for continued progress.
Declaring the retreat open, the Director General of NITDA, Mr Kashifu Inuwa, stated that the retreat was designed to analyse the agency’s performance in 2024 and develop a comprehensive, enduring scorecard that will guide staff on the Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2.0).
He expressed appreciation for the efforts of all individuals involved in the Agency’s achievements, emphasised the need for continued collaboration and urged top management to work relentlessly toward the realisation of Nigeria’s digital transformation goals.
The retreat featured a full day of engagements, with various senior speakers from leading organisations sharing their experiences on NITDA’s development.
This led to breakout sessions, where participants engaged in brainstorming discussions on key thematic areas to explore new ideas and strategies for navigating IT regulations, ensuring sustainable impact and financial growth for the Agency within the dynamic digital economy.
The retreat saw subsidiaries, departments, and units showcase their achievements and outline ambitious strategies for 2025. A unique highlight was the signing of a “Bond of Commitment,” signifying a renewed dedication to service delivery and excellence.
Inuwa noted the importance of collective intelligence and collaborative efforts as cornerstones of the agency’s success in 2025. This retreat serves as a catalyst for NITDA to drive innovation and play a pivotal role in Nigeria’s digital transformation.
