The Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), led by its President, Mr. Tony Izuagbe Emoekpere, have held a strategic engagement with the Management of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), headed by its Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Dr. Aminu Maida, to discuss issues of benefit to the telecoms industry.
Speaking about the meeting, ATCON President, he said the meeting provided a high-level platform for constructive dialogue between the regulator and industry stakeholders, focusing on key regulatory, operational, and strategic priorities shaping Nigeria’s telecommunications landscape.

“Discussions reinforced the critical role of sustained engagement between ATCON and the NCC, with both parties emphasizing the need for deeper collaboration in infrastructure protection, corporate governance compliance, service quality enhancement, and long-term sector sustainability”, Emoekpere.
According to him, ATCON is commitment to partnering closely with the Commission to foster a resilient, investor-friendly, and consumer-centric telecommunications ecosystem that supports Nigeria’s digital growth ambitions.
