Internet traffic in Nigeria has exploded moving from one terabytes to two terabytes peak domestic traffic within 2025.
Chief Executive Officer of Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria(IXPN), Mr Muhammed Rudman revealed this today at the African Tech Forum holding in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
He said that before the the establishment of IXPN much of local internet traffic of Nigeria were routed international stating that traffic location has increased by 70 percent.
According to him Lagos is now the West Africa regional Internet traffic hub with some countries already connected.
