By The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), the World Bank and World Trade Organisation for Digital Trade Engagement are considering collaboration digital trade and related issues.
That was part of the purpose of discussion when Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa received a delegation from the global business and financial body led by Aleksandar Stojanov, at the Agency’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss priority areas in digital trade, share initial findings from the Digital Trade Regulatory Gap Analysis, and explore collaborative opportunities in digital trade, cross-border data services, and digital regulations within the ecosystem.
This aims to enhance Nigeria’s digital trust, economic growth, and diversification, which aligns with the redefined priority areas of the Renewed Hope Agenda, that focuses on accelerating diversification through industrialisation, digitisation, and innovation.
